Trip to Tampa

Earlier this month I made a trip to Tampa to get away from the snow here in Atlantic Canada. I always enjoy seeing the variety of birds from different parts.

Wow, great shots. Where in Tampa did you see the shoebill and the Flamingo?

I guess I neglected to note that a few were taken in a zoo. The shoebill, sandhill, and flamingo were all zoo birds.

Lowry Park Zoo for the zoo photos. The others were around Madeira Beach.

We winter in the Ocala National Forest. There are a ton of Sandhill Cranes there. Their cries wake us up every morning and sometimes they have even come around my feeders.
