I'm booked for a cruise to Alaska this summer and plan to take my T2i and Canon 400 5.6 lens. I would like a case that carries the T2i with 400 attached and ready for shooting. I'm leaning toward the Think Tank digital holster 30 or 50. Have any of you used either of these bags with the 400 5.6? Would you recommend the holster harness system that carries the camera and lens on your chest? I have a Black Rapid wrist strap that I would probably leave on the camera with the tripod plate. The case would need enough room to accommodate the tripod plate and wrist strap.

Does the 400 5.6 fit in the Think Tank Digital Holster 30 (or 50) with the tripod collar attached? How do those of you that have the holsters prefer to carry them, belt or shoulder harness?
