Brand New Model

Here are a couple of images of brand new model Kristin from Annapolis, MD yesterday.

did you do some skin smoothening on her face?

Yes I did.

She's beautiful. Great smile. But the skin smoothing blurred the top of her teeth.

I just upgraded to PP 12 and I am still perfecting my settings.

Here's a new image of Kristin with much less post processing.

I'm no expert but they all look great to me.

Just a quick observation on that second picture. You've obviously done the work blending and smoothing the skin tones on her face, but you didn't do the same thing with her legs.

If you're going to retouch her skin then retouch her skin, not just her face. Otherwise things just don't look right.

I'm not a fan of that retouched look personally. I think if her skin is good enough, keep it natural. I think a good makeup artist instead of a computer makes faces look smoother and it seems to look more real that way too. Just FYI. She appears to have had nice skin, so you probably didn't even need to mannequinize her face. Besides that, there is a color transition halfway down her neck in the first image that needs to be corrected. Her legs in the second image look normal, but her face looks fake.
