350D + 380Ex Will it work?

Will the 380Ex work witha 350D, will it be E-TTL compatible... what are my options with this one?
I know it cant swivel, and that it cant function as a slave. But how the performance compared to the 420ex

Yes, the 380EX will work fine with the 350D in E-TTL-II mode. The 380EX is weaker than the 420EX but on the plus side, it'll work much better than the internal flash.

It will work just fine. A little less power than the 420ex, no swivel, but the bounce capabilities alone will keep you smiling when you see the results.

I havea 380 EX from my Eos film camera and it works just fine on my 20D. Just stick it on and turn it on, much much better than the built-in flash!
So there's no reason why it wouldn't work well on a 350D.
