G series help please

Tired of changing lenses, lugging heavy camera and case so am looking at the G series but need some input. I love to shoot macro the rest is family and pets...birds in backyard, street photography. Seeing G15 on B&H at a descent price. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

G15,,and enjoy..Wife & i have/had many G models,,got a G15 a while back and we like it,,much better in low light ,m,great IQ and a rugged small body..

+1 on the G15.

The trade off as I see it is a camera that is too big to take everywhere versus shutter lag and high iso noise. The G wins because I take it everywhere in a cargo pocket, coat pocket, backpack or messenger bag.

The long end on the G15 is weak IMO. That was why I kept the G9 since it is 210mm. Macro the G's do very well. The G's taper in such a nice way I tend to reach for it often when doing such shots. I grow tired of the narrow focus-DOF of the 100 macro lens on the SLR.
