Very cool topic this week! Great shots, Ricardo. Is that second one a river or do you live in the artctic? I could see it both ways.

Anyway..

When we bought this house, it needed a total makeover, so we redid the entire place. While the remodel was going on, and we were out shopping for furniture, I found this art. I am not one for abstracts, and usually won't give them a second glance, but I liked it so much that I bought it and redesigned my office bathroom around this painting!

Levina! Those are great!
I have no idea what they could be, but I love the designs!
Funny, but the color schemes go with Vetts painting. Lol
Love the color and leading lines in the last, but that doesn't change how much I like the "dots"
And the "holes". ;)

Levina, those are fantastic!!! I love all three!

Vette, that's a very nice bathroom and it ties in nicely with the theme this week.

Thank you Vette...that shot was taken looking across Tasman Bay...with the 300mm lens. I liked the way it compressed the perspective...like Cezanne's paintings of a view over the Bay of Marseilles where he did away with aerial perspective altogether so that the sea looks almost vertical.

Love your bathroom shots, and I would have kept that painting too, though I doubt I would have dreamed up such a terrific "gallery" for it! Well done sir!

^^^Levina, those are really cool. I specially like the second one...it really messes with the eyes! I'm really enjoying all these images.

Great contributions, everyone. Levina, your first shot might be a paint tray; the others, I could never guess.

This laptop works almost normally early in the day and goes to pieces in the evening. I think the accumulated pressure on the keyboard and surround, from using it, causes the trouble. (The seal around the keyboard/touchpad panel is partly worn off and cracked.) I try to type very lightly and not touch the plastic near the edges. But I need to not use it much.

Couldn't think of an abstract until today, will try to post one later.

Here's my shot at abstact. I guess you'd call it a bird abstract, sorta. Hopefully it somewhat qualifies as abstract.:)

It's bits of rust on wet porcelain. I changed the color completely in PP, upping the magenta and blue.

The bathroom sink faucet was running slow. I took apart the end piece and cleaned out the screens. The picture shows a little of what came out, taken after I unplugged the drain (don't want that crud going into the pipe) and before I wiped out the sink.

Thanks, everybody, for the nice words!

More excellent contributions since I last was here. Love that bathroom, Vette. And I totally get that you bought that painting. It's wonderful. Also love the abstract bird, Terry, and the "rust on wet porcelain," OhLook.

Nice bathroom Vette.

I like the bird Terry, well done.

Glad you filled us in OhLook, I didn't even come close to having a clue. Nice.
