Thanks Stina:)

Terry..totally a birds abstract! Perfect in b/w. Reminds me of ... The Birds!

OhLook ..that is beautiful...please, do tell?

Thanks Joayne, appreciate that.

Thanks, everybody, for the nice words!

More excellent contributions since I last was here. Love that bathroom, Vette. And I totally get that you bought that painting. It's wonderful. Also love the abstract bird, Terry, and the "rust on wet porcelain," OhLook.

Thanks Levina

Nice bathroom Vette.

I like the bird Terry, well done.

Glad you filled us in OhLook, I didn't even come close to having a clue. Nice.

Thanks OldCrow.

Just a little sidenote here. The bird in my attempted abstract, is a female bald eagle. I try to visit her and pops about once a week. It is a mile walkin to their nest site along the Kootenai river. I always look forward to seeing them. Will be fun to see any eaglets this summer sometime.:)

I'm still trying to shoot Abstracts and having great fun with it. Here are some of the shots I like. Again all shot with the Powershot SX100 IS.

Stina, joayne, Levina, Crow, Terry: thank you very much.

Levina, good disguises. Is one of them Venetian blinds? The green image suggests that the Northern Lights entered your home, but it must be something else.

This week is a challenge for me, to say the least. I have been trying to come up with something and nothing I do is turning out.
This is the best I have so far?

Hi everyone, some fabulous images posted here while I've been away for a few days out in the Marlborough Sounds where we have a little old cottage. The best part of going out there is the sheer delight of our dog Maggie who loves to hunt, and spends most of her time there looking for, and catching, possums. (Possums are noxious pests here as they destroy our forests.)

Here are a couple of "natural" abstracts from the weekend out there...

Nice ones Levina.

Nice textures Ricardo. Gun barrel? Has to be a story behind that.

Nothing wrong with your picture, Stina. I think it looks great!

Love the leaf, Richard. And that barrel in the second pic sure is intriguing!

The Northern Lights?!! LOL...

It's the green of the trees in front of my window. I thought about getting rid of it, but decided to keep it as is. :)
