More info | May 08, 2014 08:34 | #4 fashionrider isn't talking about the sun illuminating parts of the background. he's talking about the light shining on her where there's also shadow on her torso and limbs. Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

May 08, 2014 21:51 | #6 Thank you all for your comments. As for lighting goes, I wanted her in full shade, but I rather have nice facial expressions. Getting a 2 year old to be still for a second and look at the camera can be a daunting task when they do not want to cooperate. I was very glad to get this shot because she was completely uncooperative the whole 10 minutes I was trying to get the shot. I managed to get a couple decent ones.
