Lol I never had this feeling since I bought my 70-200 2.8 non IS. This lens is so good! Haha Portraits are very pleasing with this lens too . Took some pictures of my wife, wide open and the bokeh is just Godlike. Lol Haha, you are right.

Looks like that is where it hits the sweet spot for this lens on a 5dmkII -Omar- Flickr

I saw the bokeh on your pics, amazing indeed, but what about the sharpness? ^^ Crazy sharp eye I guess... I want too see!!! ![]() Again, please, when you will come home if you can find a person, or something with two eyes, a nose, a mouth and some hair... Take a pic of it and show us! You are so lucky! Razaec portraits sample in RAW>>>>> Life Sharpness looks rated close to the Sigma 35 1.4 ART which is extremely sharp. So it should hit it on the money. -Omar- Flickr

It's so thin that when I pixel peeped, one eye was very sharp while the other is not. But then I noticed that she was standing a bit sideways and not completely frontal, because the area that is at the same plane with the other eye was very sharp. It is very sharp guys. Lol. I hate to pixel peep but then I need to find mistakes on this lens within 14 days so that if I find any, I'll just return it. But I can't find any yet. I played with it whole evening yesterday. I can bring it tomorrow, the after work I can take some shots. Street photography style ceazar

The same I did on my 17-40mm F4L, I needed to change 3 copies of it at the store because the first 2 copies needed more than +10 MA on 5dmkII. I focused exaclty at 12cm on the ruler.. ![]() ceazar
