It's definitively a huge improvement from Canon 1.4 but It's obviously not as sharp as I've expected (judging from other pictures on this thread). At first I thought that it needed some MA too, but I'm not too sure now, because even zooming in I can't find parts that are completely focused and sharp. I think thats an issue with shutter speed, not with the lens. Go test it outside on a tripod in decent sunlight it should be razor sharp. Put it on my 1DMkIV, took a couple of shots around the house @ 1.4. All out of focus. Fiddled with the MA & it kept getting higher & higher.
