One thing I have learned using a 6D is that I need to make sure I have my 3 stop ND with me, I could not have captured the photo above with my 6D at 1/8000 :D

I offer evidence! At 1/4000, and ISO 50 (fake ISO), the aperture I had to capture this photo is f2.5! ;)
