Are you using a mirrorless? How can you differentiate between 300-600 grams during a work day?

No, I have a 6D, btw I'm not a pro but just a hobbyist. Hate the weight because I used to have a 50L which was much lighter.

Just joined the club.:-)

Dragon and Ant living dangerously…:-)

I came across this Eastern Water Dragon in the Roma Street Parklands who it seems, was quite used to visitors so he posed nicely for me.

What I didn’t see at the time, was the tiny ant on the tip of his mouth! Symbiotic cleaning perhaps?

Cheers

Dennis

Just received this lens! Will primarily be mounted on a 7D2.. Giving it a 80mm equivalent will be great for family and individual portraits!

I bought it from B&H on a promo so it came with the free dock.. Anyone found the need to micro adjust? I'm asking because it seems like it seems fine right out of the box where as I see many comments about the 35Art missing alot?!

Congrats. It's an excellent lens. Mine was spot on from buying it new, no MA required. I also got a dock with mine, on the basis that this was the 1st modern Sigma lens I'd bought and knowing how much some Canon lenses need to be adjusted by, I assumed that Sigma might be the same, not so.
I've also read comments about missed focus from some Sigma users. Well, they might be right and the gear might be to blame, on the other hand the phrase about bad workmen blaming their gear comes to mind. I'm quite tempted by the Sigma 135mm f1.8 next.

hit or miss I guess...mine was excellent on my 5DII, and missed marginally on my 7DI. Doesn't miss at all on my A7R2 and A9....:-D

I had to adjust on my Canon bodies but actually not on my Sony A7RII. That said, the focus is much slower on the Sony with the MC-11. I recently had to send my Sony out and borrowed my sister's SL1 just to keep shooting. Right away, I could tell the 35A and 50A both needed adjustments to be accurate on the native Canon bodies. That's always been my crux with these lenses. That and the loud AF motor. I love the sharpness though.

Use the Metabones IVT...not slow to focus.

Are you sure that's wide open? There looks to be far too much in focus for 50mm/1.4
