I would love a 16 2.8 under $1600... Would buy it tomorrow.

I had the same issue. Ended up with the TS-E which I'd possibly never have gotten if there was a sharp prime in that FL range for $1200 or so.

So now I'm glad there isn't, I'd miss the shift.
