first time shooting a gig

Got the opportunity to shoot a gig last week at short notice.

here are the results.

I need some very harsh CC in terms of composition, PP etc. I want to improve. I found the metering and lighting challenging and some of the images i had to do convert to B/W as the purple strobe lights killed half of my shots!

Pretty nice set!

(1) Put more space in front than behind ... so he has room to look out.
(3) Doesn't appear anything is in focus ... just a flare isn't very interesting for a concert shot.
(5) We know that less mature performers like to suck on the mic but you need to try to wait for them to come up for breath ... a face full of microphone rarely works.
