Shot this at sunrise off the Colonial Parkway going out to the Jamestown Archaeological Site. Mainly looking for PP comments. Thanks in advance.

I hope you don't mind, since you have image editting checked "ok" I played with some of the saturation elements by isolating a few areas. Personal taste, but I like a sunset, even if already "set", to have a little bit of color pop: - Ken

Don't mind at all! And hear I feared I had over-cooked it. I like the sky in your edit. I found it difficult in Lr to pull enough saturation out of it without feeling like I played with too many sliders :P

I found it difficult in Lr to pull enough saturation out of it without feeling like I played with too many sliders :P Truth be told this was a significant crop of the original file, and at first I didn't think much of the image. When the weather stops sucking, I'll go back and re-shoot this, maybe lower to the ground (although I was only about 1 foot or so off the ground in this shot), and framed portrait orientation instead of landscape. Should be able to pull more res out of it too if I don't have to crop so much. Thanks. I used the radial filter tool on just the sunset area, and the graduated filter at an angle on the upper sky - pulling the blue tone up a bit and decreasing exposure a touch to darken slightly, all the while trying to leave the rest of the shot untouched. Another option would be to get a little tighter as you mentioned - this is a lightened version of the previous edit, with a little cropped off top and bottom - although I like the portrait orientation too with the large foreground rock - nice shot overall man. - Ken
