We've had three of the beautiful birds hanging around for over a week now. This is only the second time I've seen them here.

Very nice indeed. I think they are still a few weeks away from me.

Very pretty. They should arrive here with the apple blossoms!

Handsome creature and very nice capture, Daniel.
We are enjoying RBGs in our neck of the woods now too.
I'm curious to know if these fellow avoid populated areas--are these taken in a residential area?

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Barry - we are in a small residential area which backs up to Lake Oconee (19,000 acres). So, we're basically not in a highly populated area.

Very nicely executed Dan!
Love the eye contact in the 1st image especially.

I wonder why you don't get more Dan? I get them every year and I'm pretty sure mine have come and gone for the Spring season. At the peak I watched 6 males be everywhere in my back yard except where I was set up shooting :) I think that also addresses Barry's query as Lilburn is an eastern suburb of Atlanta. Maybe they like populated areas ;)
