Where is the best place to buy this light? The quickest I seem to be able to find is the Godox version on the photogradget website.

The only place to buy the old version is online. V2 is not released yet

I'm having a hard time understanding the high shutter speeds that you obtained. How is this light allowing you to get shots at 1/2500 on the 5d mk iii?

You need a trigger that allows your camera to go into HSS and has the right timing.
2nd is having a flash that has a long flash duration.
When you have these two things together allows you to shoot over the camera sync speed.

Remember not all cameras or flashes even though they are the same equal. Meaning I tested few different cl-600 some worked doing this and some didn't.

The qbox was camera right blocking the sun and the power was 1/2
