Did you buy the Jinbei HD 600 or the HD-II 600?

I have and few other people bought Jinbei HD /Rovelight that have 600's but that has really nothing to do with Cheetahstand and the CL-600. I have Profoto and Elinchrom too, but again those strobes are not the point here. I have posted my thoughts of the Jinbei in the Rovelight thread.

Some people like the pack and head setup and some like the battery head unit. There are pros and con to each models

You're both right. From the lightingrumors article:

"The Volta V-385 is a modified Godox Leadpower LP-800x with a whopping 26 Ah battery pack".

I did not know the Godox LP-800x otherwise I would have seen it that the only the label was different and the capacity or battery itself.

This is the same lock as abbandon31 (Scott) posted a picture of and wrote that it would be the new locking mechanism for the batterypack written about in this thread.

This unit don't have HSS and your just tricking the camera to shoot higher then sync and capturing your image off the flash duration.

Ok. Thanks . can i go with the cells ii up to 8000th sec sutter or the camera will block me to 200th sec whith the cl-600?
If i can than will i get black bars at any shutter speed above 200th/sec or it depends?

You'll get inconsistent exposure across the frame, you can adjust the timing to mitigate this, you can also use composition tricks to work round it. Or get an ND filter.

In my experience with the CL360 and using long duration sync, the only time the difference across the frame is signifgant is when there is no, or very little ambient. When mixing ambient and flash it's really not a problem. Luckily the 360 has HSS.

Nice work Scott ... and thanks for your time and attention in providing all this cool info about the CL-600. I have a quick question. Is their a cable/ splitter out there that can be used for two CL-600's in one BatteryPack... do you think this would work for those occasions where one battery is all you need (two lightheads/ less power)?
