His username was thomascanty. Lonnie DeCloedt was member number 7265 out of almost 400,000 members. He has been here since 2003 and has always been a fabulous person. He knew many of us personally and we will miss him greatly.

He will be able to return to his best friend, Ashley. RIP to both.

Well, since this news came out last night here and in FaceBook, of course I've been saddened at the passing of an "Internet Friend", someone who has been an active member here for a good number of years...

But also I'm moved, moved at the way that the "community" has become real, the way that we here in POTN have as photographers developed a "connection" and this has extended to the "social network" and that we do actually consider each other "friends"!

Like I say, I'm moved, and glad to be part of this community!

Bold Pink Lonnie will not soon be forgotten. I always looked forward to reading about his adventures, and checking out his photos. RIP, my friend.

RIP. You gave pink a face.

Even if we never met, I still remember a number of your quite prolific posts.

Lonnie was a good friend to anyone who met him, whether in person or "just" online. His presence was surely a gift.
