'Glamour photography, bikini shots, nude photography (male or female). No pornography!'

That's the tagline for the Glamour and Nude section of the forum so I would assume that nude males will be acceptable.

Though you may get some rude comments about them.

I am not really a huge fan of nude photography because less than 1% feels like art to me. I do appreciate that 1% though. Yes there is a double standard with males. If it is nude women guys are like what is the problem quit being a prude but pose a pants-less male and watch how the attitudes change.

Something else that everyone that poses for nude pictures needs to think about is that picture is out there FOREVER. Co workers, grandkids, enemies, etc. I would advise not to do it and one day I am sure some young women will be thanking me for that advise.

Even tattoos can be removed but pictures on the internet can never be recovered.

Yep that's what I can't stand.

Less than 1% of photos in general feel like art to me ! But that doesn't tend to leave me thinking that I'm not a huge fan of photography. Hm.

I'm glad that there are people who don't take your ever-so-slightly puritanically tinged recommendation never to pose nude, for artistic reasons and sociological ones.

I'm late to this thread, but what would folks think about a shot of a guy and lady just hanging together in the nude (not porn)?

I would think they were wasting a perfect opportunity to be gettin' it on.

But seriously folks... there are so many beautiful male nude sculptures and we seem to be able to take shots of women that are as beautiful so why can't we seem to take shots of men like that.

One such thread in G&N: fitness shots of an athletic couple. The subjects weren't just hanging together. These shots were carefully posed and may not be what you have in mind.

Yes, that is something that needs to be remembered. That issue came up last year at work when male coworkers of one of our employees found a nude shoot she had done around 8 years earlier, and started passing around the web address to their buddies at work.

I see no issue with Male or Female posing in the nude. It's just simply harder to get good shots of male models than it is of women.

I'm not being sexiest in the least. But think of a very curvy naked woman. Posed properly, VERY SEXY. Unless the male is of the Adonis type, which few are, they simply do not look good naked even with the best posing and lighting.

I've asked countless women this when they ask me why I only shoot Boudoir with women. My response is always "Because it's next to impossible to find a male model that is willing, or wanting to pose nude."

And saying to worry about posing due to future endeavors....as long as you're not posing full-on porn, then there should be zero issues.
