I own multiple L lenses, so Gold level won't be a problem. I see you have to be a "professional" for Platinum. I'm no pro, so that seems to be out of the question. Curious though, what kind of proof do you need to be considered pro?
Not certain, but in the past I believe you had to show copies of quotes, invoices, business credentials (business cards, forms). That would not be a problem for me, but the second requirement, that your income be "substantially" derived from this employment/business, has always stopped me from applying, as I never have known what "substantial" means ...
In the States, my cousin simply just said he was a professional and that's all it took. It was his opinion all that mattered was that he was willing to pay the increased fee.
I think in Canada it currently reads that you have to be a "working professional" ...
