Is it beauty dish, octabank, softbox? How do you get the circular shape? Is that a grid?

sandpiper Cream of the Crop More info | Well, the lighting side is easy enough, you just need a controlled beam, so a snoot, honeycomb / grid whatever will do the job, you just need to then control the shape. That can be done by the angle of the beam or simply attaching something to block the light in certain directions.
