May 04, 2014 02:19 | #2 Just checked out my own post - as you do! Surprisingly the pictures posted here seem to have a greenish hue which is not present on the jpgs on my hard drive that I uploaded. Unfortunately it rather dulls the russets and oranges in the leaves that made these shots rather attractive. Anyone know why the posted pictures might look different from the ones uploaded? Mike

John and Jacobite - thanks for your comments. I have tried linking to Flickr (after a bit of working out how to do it!) The colours seem much better this way so it looks like the degradation comes on posting directly as an attachment to the post. Thanks for taking time to put me right on this.   Mike
