If it wasn't so far I would be there in a minute. Realize that was fifty years ago and I don't travel as well now. Perhaps you can photograph your lovely wife in some of the interesting areas there and share with us? One thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

Have China Beach, Monkey Mountain (Comm site, HAWK missile site, MACV radar), and some sites from Hue and Phu Bai. A retied marine that lives here and I even found boom-boom rock five years ago . Your NOT too old, I see 60's-70's Viet Vets here all the time, they have organized and guided tours of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, Khe San, and the Cu Chi tunnels.
