QUOTED IMAGE

Well I suffer from Leica-lust maybe only one nano-second in an average year. But there is something very special about the M Monochrom. The most memorable photographs for me are all monochrome. Colour so often ends up being a distraction. And this camera does B&W really rather well.

Oh ... nice shot, btw.

David.
Comment and (constructive) criticism always welcome.

Yes I agree. I had never warmed up to digital B&W until the MM. The files are insanely good. There is just so much info in them especially in the mid and low tones (toe).

THANKS....

Why do people post the same images in multiple threads?

To get maximum exposure. I don't follow some of those other threads and if they didn't post in "every" permanent thread, I'd miss some pics that I've enjoyed otherwise.

It's not necessarily the single image as much as the multiple images from the same set. Try posting only the best one.

There is some awesome talent on this thread! I'll share mine but C&C welcome, I'm very new to photography and still learning to get the most out of my prime lens.

If the photo applies to multiple threads why not? Some folks only follow the same threads, I see no problem. Though I've never posted the same photo to more then 10 threads, if a person were to do that it would be completely wrong.

There are certain threads that I might not look at and therefore I might not see certain pictures. I have posted some of my birds in what I thought were appropriate threads and I get some comments and likes. I then might put that same picture in a thread that I normally don't visit and get a whole different group of comments.

But, as Chet mentioned, there are some that might go a bit overboard.
