My God Child (gold dress) wanted me to pictures of her friends before the prom... Since the prom venue was near downtown Los Angeles, I figured the Walt Disney Concert Hall was a great place to shoot them... I'm glad we got there early to shoot!!! Only a handful of people were on the grounds and we basically had it all to ourselves... By the time we finished, the location had over 100 other "prom" shoots and photographers... LOL... Needless to say, the term "Early Bird Gets The Worm" fit nicely after I took their photographs... They were completely shocked by the amount of people that were at the locations we shot... Anyhoo... 1DX + 50L combo... ISO 125, f/2 @ 1/250sec... Profoto B1 + Profoto 24" Deep Octa for illumination (held by my cousin)... On a side note, this place is pretty strict with strobes/modifiers without a permit... I secretly popped a several shots with my lighting gear, but knew at any time security was going to shut me down... And I was mentally expecting it... Ironically it was the opposite... The security guards that passed by us (on bikes) just gave us a quick glance... I don't know if they started to be overwhelmed with all the other photogs (with strobes) shooting away, but I was not stopped AT ALL!!! Lucky us!!! I'll take it!!! Hehehehehe... ![]() Hi. My name is Butch...
