The beautiful Magdalena Who I asked to shoot 4 years ago but she said to me "I'm not a model " and I left it there.
Then last Sunday out of the blue I put up a casting call on FB and Magdalena asked if I would shoot with her. To which I said Yessssssss !

Since June, I have been taking family portraits for our friends. Many of them haven't had any taken for years, for various reasons. It was wonderful to be able to see them in person after months of quarantine. And unexpectedly, these photos encouraged many of them, perhaps as a reminder of how we were held together by family during this difficult time. Sharing some of the good ones here.

Happy family photos. Looks like interesting characters, especially the couple in the second last photo. I would have made the second one from top a bit less yellow.

Thank you!

WB is indeed a little tricky as each one had different light conditions. I'll need to carry my WB card and use it more frequently.

I do also like family portraits to be on the warmer side.

I love the smirk.
It makes me want to know what she's up to.
