WB is indeed a little tricky as each one had different light conditions. I'll need to carry my WB card and use it more frequently.

I do also like family portraits to be on the warmer side.

Sorry that this reply is late, but I used to use a grey card, then a Passport. Now I just sample the whites of the eyes with Lightroom and set that as the white balance.
