Thank classmarcher! Defnitely, you should take it out for more outdoor photoshootings!

135 is a gift from canon to us. Its price is decent but the optic quality is top-notch

having never seen in person a 135, let along SHOT with one, what kind of distance between you and the subject have you got?

i have the 70-200 f2.8L and i know ive shot a lot of stuff around the 135 mark, but i couldnt say it's X distance or its Z distance. i would guess maybe 30'?

-im just trying. sometimes i succeed

that photo was taken by 85ii but i can give you a rough estimation about 135mm distance.
Back to your question, it will take about 2 meters for half of body and 3.5 meters for the full scale, it also depend on her height. My model about 1.7 meter, so those number figures only fit with her size.
Btw 70-200 bokeh look great from 135mm forward to shoot half body

Thank CF! She is indeed gorgeous model
Her background is chinese from Guongzhou China. Her name is Stefanie

I used to work with different models but lately i book Stef more frequently because she is very cooperative person. And also she already get used to my instruction, save more time for me to do the photography work
