Canon EOS R6 with Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art at 1/125 sec, f/2.8, ISO 400 with AD200 in CheetahStand 26” Quick SoupBowl on Westcott Miniboom and Neewer C stand, floating between 1/64 and 1/8 throughout session. Light was gelled with 1/2 CTS, 1/4 CTO (because I didn’t have enough CTS with me) and 1/4 + Green to match the 3210K reading on Lumu Light Meter and set camera to 3200K.

Very well lit and nice pose. I'm curious why you cropped it so close? You appear to have a beautiful sunset happening in the background. Not a critique just a question.

Love this!!

Since I started using Instagram, a 4x5 (8x10) is the tallest ratio without losing part of image.
The actual image is 2x3 and could show more background.
I have made 4x5 my standard.
There are more images with the background that can be viewed on my website under Female Portraits (link in signature under image).

Thanks! Nah, she wore boots for the field shots. I only had her put on heels when she was in the road.

Thanks. I know... So when I scoped out the area we were going to shoot in, the library was unusually crowded according to the librarian, and this was the only section with tables in the adult area (non-kid area). So when looking at the book rows, some had empty sections, some had walls in the back with no books on them, while others on the other side of the library (adult fiction) were full. But with all the people we didn't want in our shots and moving gear across the library, we just said let's shoot in this row. No, I didn't even realize what the books were until she started to read the names off.

Tested out a very minimal one light setup with the tiny AMARAN COB60x video light + Beauty dish
