Yes they're supposed to be there. It's a concrete wall that's been painted white with the holes naturally there (air bubbles from the pour).

Are you shooting RAW? I mainly see white balance issues along with the hot lighting, this could be corrected in post for the most part. Along with that you might want to use a shutter speed above 1/30th to combat subject movement and camera shake. I usually shoot at 1/60th and above on full frame but I realize this isn't always an option in dim lighting. Otherwise these are nice shots!

It should be fairly easy to bring these back with the highlights and white balance. If you are going for a specific look with the colors IMO they are just a bit off, something I struggle with myself! When I do use filters (in post) I have found that I need to go back through my usual settings to get the look I'm shooting for and sometimes I'm surprised by the way certain settings will change the look. It's a process to get used to and also fun to experiment with settings that are new to you. I've had some shots that I just went crazy on the dials and with a bit of tinkering I find a new look that I can use!
