I am using zoom browser which I updated when I purchased my 350D. I have some photos taken in RAW mode on a Canon G3 that I wish to process but I get the error message File Utility is not installed, down load the latest version of file utility from the canon digital camera home page. I have look on the canon home page and can’t find this utility. The processing for the 350D RAW files is working fine.

Interesting, I know that my version of Canon DPP (came with my 20D) doesn't support processing my G3 files, it may be the same issue.

Do you have Photoshop? You could use the RAW plugin for that.

Thanks peter. I should have thought of that myself I was panicking because I wanted to print a particular image. When I was using my G3 I had the Raw Plug-in installed but with having the new camera and after a reinstall of CS I never put the Plug-in back on as CS does not support RAW for my camera. I now have to do my conversion using ZB, I can’t understand why the versions are not back compatible.

For PS CS you'll need ACR 2.4. This should be compatible with your camera. If not, you can use the DNG converter to make them compatable.
