Those are lovely, Joayne!! I love the light on the second one.

These are short-lived in my house. :D

Joayne and Stina...lovely ephemera...those cupcakes wouldn't last long here either...though I am cutting way back on sugar these days, and feeling better for it too.

Now, in the context of things fleeting, here is the squall that side-swiped me on our walk last night! The rain where I was lasted just a few seconds longer than one of those cupcakes would have...

I'll bet those cupcakes didn't last long ;)

R.. That is quite the storm..tho it does look fleeting
You must be quite a bit away, as those are large ships below, are they not?

Thanks, Ricardo.
You captured a beautiful fleeting scene, but I hope you didn't get too wet.

That's an accurate observation Jo. It was a fair way off when I took that shot...as it got closer it lost all definition photographically, but it just brushed by in a few minutes and I felt only a few drops of rain.

Thanks Stina...you will be used to squalls like that, no doubt. As I said above, it hardly touched me and I didn't even need to put the camera away!

Joayne, love the flowers. The blooming was quite perfectly timed for this week's theme!
Stina, yummy cupcakes that wouldn't live long here either.
Richard, beautiful fleeting weather moment there. Not a shower I would want to be in. Good thing it hardly touched you!

A lady beetle is pupating on our garage door. Its pupal case is the ephemeron here. After a few days, the adult will crawl out. The case will have served its purpose and will be abandoned.

I'll probably take this computer in for repair tomorrow. I'll be Web-free for a while; don't know how long they'll keep it.

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | Comments welcome
