Good-looking ephemera from nature, Crow, John, and Terry.

My computer repair was less painful than I expected. The battery was so far gone that it bulged. It was pressing up from below on the touchpad and clicker and making them think they were tapped and clicked when they weren't. New battery, $100 + tax. The touchpad is also wearing out, but it doesn't need replacing yet.

well that must be a relief...at least the battery hadn't done any other harm it seems. I must say I have never worked a laptop to death...mine is just a backup and something I take with me on odd occasions when I need to demo something. The main wear and tear in my electronic world is mice...using CAD all the time I go through mice on a regular basis!

More ephemera from nature...sunlight on the water this morning, spotted as I was returning from the city tip with an empty trailer!

Thank you for that. It helps that I am surrounded by rather splendid scenery, and that "contre jour" is my favourite light...the geography of our land here, and the time of day I can get out means that I'm usually shooting into the sun.

Glad to hear your computer problem wasn't so bad. :D
