A few more from my yard...ID conformation needed!

I'm assuming these first two are Chipping Sparrows, but one has a black beak, while the other is two-toned.

Good eyes on the beak color of the Chipping Sparrows. I see that a lot too, but I've never read anything that tells me why.
Your birds seem to love the old Xmas tree don't they, and it serves well as both perch and background. Don't fret, the day will come when your Pineys return....

Thanks Jeff. The finch was darker than normal, so that through me off a little. And I'm not real familiar with the Chipping Sparrows, though I know they are usually in the mix of "Little Brown Birds!"

Thanks Steve. I did a search of these Sparrows and noticed the same variety of beak colors. I hope the Warblers return, this was the first year I remember seeing them.

Thanks Bret. The birds are finally starting to use the Christmas Tree replacement, though I really thought they were boycotting my yard the last couple of days.

I am happy to report that the Pine Warblers were back a few minutes ago! Sure glad I didn't take that corn squirrel log down, because they are the only ones that eat it!

Man, you're working that poor old tree to death...but to great advantage. Very nice set, Sandy. Don't know how well that last shot will be received, but I like it a lot.

Thanks Rog. If the last shot wasn't so sharp, I would have deleted it! It was cropped a little, but I missed the tail because I was too close.

Shucks, we see the whole bird all the time. Let's say you planned it that way and call it art; works for me
