I recently went on a hike to the Boston Mine in Mayflower Gulch, near Copper Mountain, CO. These are what I processed so far and I would appreciate any feedback you're willing to share whether positive or constructive. Also, if you prefer one or more over the others that would be great feedback as well, especially with the last two.

I prefer the first one of the last two - it is a shame about the ghosting on the person though... As for the first tow, I prefer the second. I think the clouds at the very top are a bit too warm though...

I like all of them, probably 1 and 4 best. The blue light is a bit distracting on the photographer. That's a great place for photography, finally took a few trips up there myself in the last year.

Beautiful. I like 3 and 4 best, 2 could do with a less yellow tint.

Interesting that the cooler white balance seems to be preferred. Nice shots as always Jon.

In long-exposure landscape shots like this, i don't mind if people move around really, i think it adds to the image, and offers a contrast to the "stillness" of the landscape. To each his own I guess

Thanks jefzor! I reprocessed #2 based on feedback received and played around with the tint. What I found is that the yellow makes the image pop, whereas when I cool it a bit it looses it. I did end up taking it out of the stars though which appears to be the best of both worlds.

Thanks very much hiketheplanet. Personally, I can't decide myself about which of the two (3-4) I like better, which is one of the reasons I asked for everyone's opinion. I really like the sky in 3, but as far as printing either of these I think 4 is more desirable for the wall. These were shot with a D800 and 24mm (1,2) 14mm (3-4) Rokinon lens.

Man the Rokinon is such a good deal, I really ought to just pick one up. I think 3 has the most going for it from a composition standpoint. They are all nice though. I'm guessing 3 & 4 were shot wide-open somwhere between 15-45 seconds?

I agree about Rokinon, you can not beat them for the price! Especially the 14mm at under $400. They were all shot wide open. The shutter varied depending which lens. 15 sec for the 24mm and 30 seconds for the 14mm. But, shot 3 is a single 30 second shot and 4 is a composite of two, 30 sec (ISO=1600) for the sky and 8 minutes (ISO=100) for the foreground.
