He should get a receipt....He's [we're] stuck servicing the interest payment. I hear they don't leave the ground much though. :p

Those people are very clever, particularly with such a coarse 'tool'.
We've a few featuring here and their works are amazing.
Great photo. Beautiful subject too.

During my commute from a northern suburb to the twin cities (MPLS/St. Paul MN) I saw a guy that had a great marketing plan.

He was making chainsaw carvings on the side of a VERY busy Minnesota highway 65. Just him and a couple of logs. He would carve the logs into different animal shapes (bears, eagles, etc. for northern Minnesota of course).

Well over the course of the summer and carving outdoors, his brown hair turned blond, his body tanned, his arm muscles bulged from handling the chain saw....and women flocked to his little spot along the highway talking to him and buying his carvings.

A couple of years later, there was a little log cabin set up on the property with several chainsaw carvings and the "hot dude carving the animals on the side of the road"...well he was no longer there doing an exhibition. The marketing message was complete.

Thanks Richard. This gentleman is from Denmark and he most certainly does have some skills.ߘ
