Who ever named them must have been color blind! *Sandy* "If we all had positive attitudes...we could change the world"

Who ever named them must have been color blind! They sure are pretty Sandy, incredible how brilliant the males are... & the females, not so much.. I think 'red' is the new 'purple' butterfly2937 wrote in post #16887147 These birds are so pretty and there colors are so vibrant in the spring and summer. Nice set! Oldjackssparrows Jeeeez, incredible comments! More info | May 07, 2014 06:33 | #8 Very nice Cheryl though ( I am usually wrong on I.D.'s ) I am thinking number two is a House Finch, those brown stripes usually mean House Finch, real nice shots either way. Thanks for taking time to comment!! Thank you Bret! You could be right, I looked at the House & Purple in my book & noted the deeper 'V' in the tail, so assumed it was a purple finch... Cheryl
