I heard the warning cry today for the first time, there were some baby goslings next to it. They definitely looked very alerted by it. No hawk in sight. Maybe it was me... Thank you very much. Same here I love watching them, Sometimes they fly over the herons purposedly just to scare them away. In the wetland I go to I see several RWB nests. Peter
