Different kind of shoot for me (C&C)

I usually have a completely different style with my photo shoots, using primes and playing with DoF. This time I wanted to try the 24-70ii and take advantage of it's incredible micro-contrast and try to do something somewhat storydriven.

Anyway, I'm really curious to get some feedback on this. Not sure if I'll continue to go down this direction. Thoughts?

i like everything but the light behind them. it doesn't add anything but unnatural hot spots

The rim light is too hot. It draws attention to the process rather than the image.

I think the lighting is good enough without the rim lighting
