I think the southern end of the RBG migration has run dry, and I'm already suffering from withdrawals. I was blessed to have them filter through for almost a full 2 weeks and hope you enjoy some of the images I obtained despite their best efforts to avoid me.

1. In the shade as usual.....

3. A spirited game of "hide-and-go-peek"....

5. I don't know why, but the females were very laid back and easy to capture.....

7. IMHO, these last 2 images are the best I captured this Spring as long as you don't mind feeder poles and branches in the way.

It's always exciting to have these birds grace my yard with their presence and I continue to try to improve the captures I've obtained although with somewhat mixed results. I hope you've not been too inundated with images of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks and feel like leaving behind comments and/or critiques. Thanks for stopping by!

Nice! Number four is my favorite male photo, and both of the shots of the female are top notch!

I wish I could keep them Al, but I'll entrust them to you for the summer. Thanks for the nice comment.

Thanks as always Barry. Maybe I'll just stick with the females `cuz they're easier :)

Beauties Steve. They elude me as well. Hard to pick a Fav from the set. All are very well done.

Great stuff Steve, clarity is exceptional. Interesting that the redness of the breasts isn't fully developed yet in the first couple of shots. I hear they have started to appear in Nova Sxotia, so I'm keeping a lookout.
