Help Lightroom in lightbox mode.

I have accidentally put LR5 into some sort of lightbox mode. All of the controls are very dark with the picture on both monitors still at full brightness. I was typing in my browser while opening LR and it happened. So far my google fu has failed me on this one, does anyone have any idea how to get back out of this viewing mode?

Always annoying when you accidentally hit a hot key that changes modes you didn't know about in a program.

Yep that was it, thanks a ton never even knew that function existed in LR but now that I know I could actually see myself using it some.

Just a little "detail" to add on, you can do the cycle without pressing the Shift key; pressing Shift just changes up the order of the cycle! So, if you want to go right to "Lights Out" Shift-L will do it (if you want to go from there right back to "Normal", then "l" will do it!

Yep. F will give you full screen, Tab will get rid of the panels, and L turns out the lights. This way you can get a good full screen view of the image.

Another combination to play with is Shift+Tab!

I knew the fullscreen hotkey and used it all the time until I got my second monitor. Didn't know the shortcut for getting rid of the panels I always just did that by clicking the arrows, or the lights out command. Its always nice when something like this turns into a learning experience.

Yeah, it's fun to learn those new shortcuts! Even though I typically don't use many, it's still good to know. Ones I use all the time are "e" and "d" and "r" and, when needed, "q", and Ctl-Shift-e (Export)! It's also nice when you remember to use the Ctl+ numbers and Ctl-Shift+ numbers to get to the right and left panels quickly!
