So - I'm finally to the point where I find myself wanting more/better quality modifiers. On the go I have photix Odin triggers, 2 430exII and a mittros flash along with some cheetah soft boxes and cheap strip boxes. In my studio I have 2 flashpoint 320m entry levels that I trigger with atlas triggers. I combine speed lights with strobes right now when I need more lights. Due to the hassle of batteries, as well as temperature variations between my cheaper strobes at low power and my speed lights, I'm wanting to invest in some better strobes, before I purchase any more expensive modifiers. I'm leaning toward Paul C Buff as it seems they have speed rings available from most modifier manufacturers. I know I want full remote light control, and temperature consistency would be nice - which puts me into the einsteins. Is there some other lesser known brand that offers a better value? Is there another brand in the same price range that offers better value or kits?

CheetahStand is coming out with a new flash :). It is a little spendy, but it may be worth it ;)

Is that the 600? I saw the quadra comparison - looks pretty awesome!

Was on the fence like you. Was looking at Einsteins, but have v850s and AD360s so the same triggering system was appealing. I have the cl-600 and so far so good. The nice thing about Einsteins or similar is that they can use mains power. I'm a paranoid person and regardless of how long batteries should last, being able to plug in is a plus.
