I'm lucky to see one Lincoln's sparrow a year; today was the day. For it being drizzly and overcast, I'm pleased with the resulting exposure. And the little brown creeper is a bird we see fairly often, but getting them to stop for a split second is no mean feat.

Great shots Al. The creepers are crazy active.

Nice job on the creeper, they're quite elusive.

Quite nice Al!
Love the prickly conifer perch the Sparrow chose. If I look long enough at the Creeper I have to ask myself "is that bird glued to the tree"? :)

Thank you, Trevor; if elusive means fast, I agree.

Thanks, Steve; I guarantee that creepers are not glued anywhere for long.

Thank you kindly. I think sparrows can easily be underrated.

Very nice Al, great shots !

Thank you everyone. It was really dark when I shot the Lincoln, so I dropped my speed down to 1/160 sec. I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did.
