I have tried to get the ISO down to 50 by going to C.fn I no. 3 and setting the "Lowest ISO speed" to "L" and the lowest choice is 100. Then I click "Apply" and it goes back to 200. Am I missing something? Is it time to send it in to Canon?

Is it saying "200" or "2oo"?

If the latter, you have HTP turned on and that is the probably the lowest ISO that can be set.

It does show 2oo, the manual says it will go down to 50? What is HTP?

That is the peripheral illumination correction I believe. It will not let the camera go under ISO-200. If not PIC, it is some other camera function, I don't remember which one it is.
