I try to avoid being in the middle and if I am I do not whirl around. I try to pick one and stay with it until it is past me. I had a real good day today especially considering it was windy and with a heavy overcast. I had 55 out 325 I considered usable. I try to catch them as early as possible and then follow them as best I can. Study the flight pattern to get a general idea of how they are moving and the direction that is most common.

I really like the Tree swallow, but that last one of the Barn swallow is just too nice. Thanks Steve. Actually there were far more Barn Swallows in the mix.
