How in the world can you follow/track those birds without getting dizzy? I tried a few times and was able to get one shot out of about 200 tries and started to get a migraine.

Seriously nice work!

Thanks, lack of brains my be my secret? LOL, I really don't know. I try to avoid being in the middle and if I am I do not whirl around. I try to pick one and stay with it until it is past me. I had a real good day today especially considering it was windy and with a heavy overcast. I had 55 out 325 I considered usable.

Thanks Bob. I try to catch them as early as possible and then follow them as best I can. Study the flight pattern to get a general idea of how they are moving and the direction that is most common.

Exceptional John.
I have tried to shoot swallows flying and I havent come up with anything I would post.

You have quite a few there that are worthy. Sweet.
Love the last one.

Thank you Jeremy. They are very difficult. You need to Zen up to have some luck I think.

All right John.....now you're just showing off! :)
Excellent IFs of all of these, but it's apparent the Barn swallow was your favorite. I really like the Tree swallow, but that last one of the Barn swallow is just too nice.

Thanks Steve. Actually there were far more Barn Swallows in the mix. I only had one run with the Tree Swallows and about 4 or 5 with the Cliff Swallows.
