Visited with some bird-friends the evening of May 7, near the Haines Summit in the far northeastern corner of British Columbia. About a three hour drive from home, so we stayed and enjoyed listening to them through the night. They have the most comical of calls.

Love these birds!

Fantastic set Sue, rarely seen here. I must admit though, I am very happy that it will be in the 70's here today and we won't be seeing any snow soon!

Beautiful series of captures Sue with both clarity and wit :)
You love the feet....I can't get over the eyebrows. You'd think that red would be a real liability on the white snow background.
