This is the story on a sandhill colt who only lived for a few hours. In front of a large group of observer, he felt of the bank and try to get back up to the bank. Unfortunately he did not make it. This is the story of the poor life fellow

Someone was trying to get to the colt but it was not an easy job

Even with the bird off his back, Daniel was not backing down but as you can see it was already too late. On the right side of the picture, the baby is no longer moving

Wow that is sad, yet amazing to think someone tried so hard to save this young bird. Good for you for documenting it, and sharing it with us.
