Finally got ripped off here on POTN last week. I've been a member for years and have many positive transactions. Learned my lesson and hoping paypal will reimburse me for the item I did not receive.

Same happened to me on here not too long ago. Luckily, I paid via regular PayPal and only about $25 with credit card (didn't have enough funds). Filed a dispute the moment I was able to and escalated to PayPal when I can. Got back full amount from PayPal within 10 days of escalating. Canon :: R5 | R6 | RP

I always use regular Paypal, using a credit card for Paypal so I have two layers of folks that may be willing to go to bat for me if something goes wrong. I am happy to say I've never needed to test that out. Same here. I've bought and sold a few thousand dollars worth of stuff on here and have had 100% perfect transactions. Use the above mentioned PayPal protocol, and investigate your buyer/seller: meaning are they active on here or FM? eBay? Shane W

Thank you all.. So as long you covered yourself and did the write thing, nothing to be bothered. When I got scammed, I was worried only the first 2 days. After that, I knew PayPal would do the right thing and recover my funds. Canon :: R5 | R6 | RP
