My wedding business took a major hit after a couple hard years fighting Crohn's disease. Last year, as I was starting treatment that began moving me toward remission (I'm doing wonderful now), my wife was diagnosed with a neurological disease that has left her disabled most of the time -- so between caring for her and our 3 year old, I simply haven't had the opportunity to shoot a wedding since last summer.

I was excited to shoot again and it was nice to get back on the bike :)

Its good to see you back. I'm glad things seem to be looking up for you. The blacks are a little heavy for me in some of these, but thats a style thing.

Love these, what's your post processing like? Some of these had a good film-like quality to them

VSCO Film? for PP?

I lost a friend to Crohns so glad to hear you're doing better. Nice images, I especially enjoy the one with the bridge and groom toasting and the foreground has the guy with his right arm raised, nice capture.

Fantastic stuff! I love the feel you have here, darker and moodier than typical wedding shots but they have some real weight to them. Would love to hear any more you can share about lens selection, shooting my first wedding in September. Thanks!

Wow, you've been through some harsh times. Looks like things are back on track for you.

Love the photos man. The processing is outstanding, but most importantly there is tons of emotion in all of these. Great work!
